Susan K. Gurley
Susan K. Gurley is an experienced non-profit leader and lawyer with 20 years of experience in strategic planning, governance, and relationship management across multiple sectors including, international development, academia, membership associations, government, and access to health - centered education nonprofits.
Prior to working with RACHA on issues related to board governance, post-donor sustainability, and operational strengthening, Ms. Gurley held leadership positions with the United States Agency for International Development, the Georgetown University Law Center, the East West Management Institute, Equal Justice Works, and the Association of Corporate Travel Executives.
Ms. Gurley has been quoted extensively on Corporate Social Responsibility, women’s heart health, data privacy, and business travel related issues in media outlets such as the New York Times, LA Times, BBC, CNN, Washington Post, NPR, USA Today, and the International Herald Tribune.
Ms. Gurley earned a J.D. from the University Of Virginia School Of Law and speaks French, Hungarian and German. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for FilmAid International, an international humanitarian organization.
